Schenectady man sentenced on drug trafficking charges

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of post-release supervision. Doron Tucker, 27, was sentenced for conspiring to distribute fentanyl, possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl and marijuana, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Tucker admitted to supplying his co-conspirator, Darren Favreau, with pills containing fentanyl, which were sold in Troy and Schenectady between June and October 2020. Favreau was arrested in August 2020, so Tucker took over the sales. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Tucker's apartment in Schenectady in October 2020. Officers seized marijuana, a digital scale, around $8,000 in cash, and a loaded .40 caliber handgun. Police also located 386 fentanyl pills, more marijuana, and another digital scale in Tucker's car. MAPLEWOOD, Mo. - A St. Louis County man faces felony charges after he allegedly stabbed his uncle in the head earlier this month. Prosecutors have charged Pierre Barthelemy, 23, with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. Upon arrival, they found a man who suffered a cut to his head from a knife. Police later found Barthelemy with blood on his hand and recovered a knife suspected in the stabbing. CLEVELAND (WJW) — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning people to not get too close to pet turtles due to a salmonella outbreak affecting multiple states.As of Friday, 26 people across 11 states have reportedly been infected, the CDC reported. Overall, nine people have been hospitalized. With the exception of one case in California, all cases were reported in the East and Midwest. Tennessee has reported the most cases at six, followed by Pennsylvania at four. Officials have identified the suspected gunman who killed three people and wounded six others before being fatally shot at a popular Orange County biker bar Wednesday evening. According to TMZ, her lawyer, Marty Singer, revealed she's planning to countersue for malicious prosecution claiming the dancers are being hypocritical.
