A suspect in a cold case murder from 1971 has now been indicted in connection with threats investigators said he made from behind bars, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday. The DA said Arthur Massei, 77, had been allegedly communicating by letter with a woman outside the prison where he was being held following his arrest in March of 2022 in connection with the murder of Natalie Scheublin, who was bound, beaten and stabbed to death in her Bedford home in 1971. The letters, the DA said, “revealed an escalating level of threats from Massei toward the recipient of the letters if she did not perform tasks to his satisfaction.” The DA said investigators found Massei asked for help recruiting someone to pretend to be a witness and falsely testify that she had information that Massei had been framed for murder. The DA said Massei allegedly offered to pay $1,000 to such a witness. Massei separately told multiple outside parties to colle...‘Boneless wing’ or ‘chicken nugget’? Buffalo Wild Wings sued for false advertising

An Illinois man is launching a class-action lawsuit against Buffalo Wild Wings for false advertising, alleging the restaurant’s boneless wings are not actually chicken wings at all.Per the suit, the menu item’s name and description “leads reasonable consumers to believe the products are actually chicken wings.”“The products are more akin, in composition, to a chicken nugget rather than a chicken wing,” said the suit, filed in federal court last week. “This clear-cut case of false advertising should not be permitted, as consumers should be able to rely on the plain meaning of a product’s name and receive what they are promised.”Buffalo Wild Wings, now headquartered in Atlanta, was long based in the Twin Cities and maintains a corporate presence there. The Inspire Brands-owned company did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday. However, the company appeared to allude to the lawsuit in a tweet Monday, writing: ̶...Aaron Rodgers on Pat McAfee Show says his ‘intention’ is to ‘play for the New York Jets’

Medication abortions became the preferred method for ending pregnancy in the U.S. even before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. They usually involve taking two prescription medicines days apart — at home or in a clinic. In contrast, abortion procedures are an invasive medical technique that empties the womb. They are sometimes called surgical abortions, although they don’t involve surgery. In the United States, abortions by pills usually involve the drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. As more states seek abortion limits, demand for the pills is expected to grow. But they have been targeted by abortion foes including Christian conservatives who filed suit in Texas seeking to overturn the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone. A hearing on the suit was held Wednesday. HOW DO ABORTION DRUGS WORK?Mifepristone is taken first, swallowed by mouth. “With Love From,” Aly & AJ (Aly & AJ Music)Disney starlets-turned-indie sister duo Aly & AJ return with a new album, storytelling their way through a big American road trip into a ’70s dreamy and electric landscape through the sun kissed desert. In the duo’s album, “With Love From,” they demonstrate their ability to make their familiar indie-pop sound reminiscent of a time in music where rock stars delivered subdued confessionals — longing for love or coming alive staying up all night on a tour bus traveling across the country. The sisters sound stronger as they ever have as a duo as they let go of ’80s style-synth production to let their voices breathe on the more stripped down, folksy Americana-inspired 11-track album. “With Love From” simply starts off with the country-infused track “Open to Something and That Something Is You.” The perfect song to serenade a lover, twinged with longing, desire and an open heart to love. “After Hours” is a folk ...‘Just tell Avril I’m not mad,’ says topless Junos protester after being charged
